Who we Are & What we Do at CVRUC
Purpose of the CVRUC
To promote and perpetuate the sport of rodeo and the ideals of
sportsmanship and fair play; to further the act of horsemanship and to do all
things necessary to promulgate the traditional spirit of the West as it relates to
man's association between himself and the horse.

CVRUC GOALS!
The main objective of the CVRUC is to provide a safe and enjoyable
environment for our families and young members to come together, learn how
to responsibly ride and care for their horses, maintain their tack, learn proper
horsemanship, and meet others with similar interests.

Beginners and amateurs are always welcome.  We maintain a low competition
agenda while encouraging everyone to always do their best, stay focused on
the task, and have a good time no matter what the outcome.  We truly believe
that when it comes time for competition, win or lose, you should be able to
say, "I had a great time getting here, next time will be even better".

Experienced riders and horse enthusiasts are an important part of CVRUC.
This allows our beginners to witness the results of hard work and effort.  Most
of our experienced members are more than willing to give their opinions, offer
suggestions, and share the benefits of past experience with those who would
like to have a few pointers or helpful hints.

CURIOUS YET?
Come on out and check out an event or two.  Sit in on a meeting.  Ask around
town.  We can say without a doubt that you will meet a lot of interesting
people, make at least a few friends, and you're guaranteed to have a good
time with the group at CVRUC.
